Hanger is built and maintained by one person. If something isn't working, you have a question, or you've got an idea to make it better, I'd genuinely like to hear from you.

Common questions
How do I get started?
Add your first piece by taking or choosing a photo of it. Capture its care tag, give it a name and a category, and Hanger reads the colors automatically and begins suggesting what pairs well. The more of your wardrobe you add, the more useful it becomes.
How do I back up my wardrobe or move it to a new phone?
Hanger can export everything — items, photos, settings, and all — into a single .hanger file. Save that file wherever you like, on your device or in your own cloud storage, then import it on another device to restore your full wardrobe. The backup is yours, so you're always in control of where it lives.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything stays on your device. Hanger has no accounts, no servers, no tracking, and no ads, and the developer never sees your wardrobe. You can read the full details in the Privacy Policy.
Why does Hanger ask for camera and photo access?
Only so you can add pictures of your clothing and their care tags. Those photos stay on your device as part of your catalog and are never uploaded.
What is the garment bag for?
It's a way to set a few pieces aside to take shopping. At the store you can pull them up side by side to check whether something new pairs well — or show a store associate exactly what you're trying to match.
Why should I capture the care tag?
Care tags hold fabric content, washing instructions, size, and SKU — details that are easy to lose once you cut a tag out for comfort or it wears away. Capturing it when you add an item keeps that information with the piece for good.
I found a bug, or I have an idea.
Please email me. The clearer you can be about what happened (and what you expected to happen), the faster I can sort it out.
